Gigantic stainless-steel tanks greet us as the tour bus drove into the compound.
Went for a guided tour around the beer factory to see the process of beer brewing and bottling. Tour was conducted in Japanese and our tour guide had to serve as the translator.
End to end beer brewing and bottling process.
Mash kettle and mash tun used for mashing and wort separation.
No photography from this point onwards, cos people scare that tourists like you and me will steal their trade secret... hahaha... You'll never know if there's a spy being planted in the tour group!
.At the end of the tour, we could sample (unlimited) freshly brewed beer within a 20min period.
Above Left: Sapporo Classic, a pale lager beer, and it tastes really good!
Above Right: Sapporo Premium Alcohol Free.
Above Right: Sapporo Premium Alcohol Free.
Yesh, 0% alcohol. Tastes slightly weird though...
Hopped back into bus and it's... shopping time!
PS: This is one of the reasons why I dislike guided tours =(
Depositing you at a boring and expensive shopping area for a couple of hours is a no-no!
