Emi's dreamboat of the month

Yes daaarrliiinnnnngggggsssssssssssss...

It has been ages and i know you all have been dying to know who my next dreamboat is. so i present to you: Mr. Gilbert "Gil' Grissom from the CSI team!

Well, if you catch this show every Tuesday, 10pm on channel 5, you'd come to admire his intelligence and dedication to his work. He spouts quotes by Oscar Wilde and is damn sharp on and off work. He pushes his men to work hard, think out of the box and unknowingly impresses them with his talents.

ok, there's another dude that is not bad, Warrick Brown. i mean, check out the intensity in his eyes!

But i digress. CSI is an awesome show, along with nip/tuck. Very intense and dark. Helps that there are equally awesome characters and plot to sustain the show.

p/s i'm not into old dudes alright?

loveflower: there's no blading session this sat as the doctor had advised me to avoid the sun =<
aniwae, me and emi decided we should go shopping at bugis/arab street area... had long wanted to visit the shops at haji lane as well... hahaha.. so it's time we put our words into actions...

therefore, plan for this sat = we should be tourists!! anyone who wishes to join us please let me know... time to meet at bugis mrt station to be confirmed again =P

1. found an interesting walking guide by URA(www.ura.gov.sg/publications/walking_maps/image/KgGlamWalkMap_UOLver.pdf)
Go and download it yah... very useful... can use it to explore the place... i'll be bringing my camera & battery

2. extract take from:
http://www.travelfish.org/location/singapore/central_region/central_area/arab_street_and_bugis

Orientation
Bugis MRT station and the adjoining Bugis Junction mall are the landmarks of the area -- the mall comprises a sprawling collection of restored shophouses, and is a streetwear haven with a sprinkling of midrange shopping. Across from Bugis Junction, the hundreds of stalls at Bugis Street featuring local food, street fashion and accessories, provides an authentic shopping experience in the ‘heartlands'.

Walking north along Victoria Street or North Bridge Road, the dense and tall buildings of the city give way to a series of two storey shophouses, the vicinity in and around Arab Street. (A short walking distance from Bugis station and mall: head towards the Raffles Hospital and Golden Landmark Hotel). The quaint neighbourhood centres around the Sultan Mosque, where Bussorah Street, Arab Street, Haji Lane, Bali Lane, Kandahar Street, and Pahang Street run parallel to each other, all of them connected by Baghdad Street; each has its own charm, so be sure to explore.
