Sun Sign vs Moon Sign Astrology

Astrology has been around for a very long time, and it's always fun to see if your daily horoscope ends up being accurate. But did you know that your sun sign is only part of the equation? Many other aspects go into making a full horoscope, and while you are born under a sun sign, you are also born under a moon sign.

Sun Signs
Your sun sign is the sign of the zodiac that the sun was in at the time of your birth. This is the sign most people recognize as theirs, and they read their horoscopes in the newspaper based on this sign.

The sun is often referred to as masculine energy, and it is more associated with "doing." It represents the core of your self-expression and the side that you show to the world.

Moon Signs
Your moon sign is the sign of the zodiac that the moon was in at the time of your birth. It is not always the same as your sun sign, and in fact, may explain why certain individuals do not exhibit the character traits generally attributed to their sun sign.

The moon is often referred to as feminine energy, and it is more associated with "feeling." It is your private side that only a select few are permitted to see and your instinctual self.

Identify Your Signs

I'm a Cancer-sun / Leo-moon... and I think it's almost 80% right!! hahaha... I can think of at least 2 persons who will absolutely agree that this sentence '...a little pompous and self-righteous at times" describes me totally =)

What's your sun/moon sign??

The (much hated) Move

Have you guys heard me complaining that my office is moving to Changi Business Park by end of this month (Jan)?? Arghhhhh..... Just look at how far the distance is!!!!

By Car : 33.4 km - about 30 mins
By Public Transit : About 1h 16min for bus, MRT train and walking
Walking: 6 hours 32 mins via Bukit Timah Rd (31.0 km) or 6 hours 49 mins via Commonwealth Ave West (32.1 km)

FYI, the distance of Singapore running from East-West is 48.2 km and I'll need to travel 33.4 km per trip in the morning AND evening AND for 5 days every week?? The distance is almost 70% of the length of Singapore!!

And make a guess at the estimated taxi fee which I will need to pay if I catch a taxi at 8am?? $40.65

Distance: 38.1 km. Duration: 44 min.
First km S$2.80
10.0 km. x S$0.52 per km S$5.19
27.1 km. x S$0.61 per km S$16.37
Waiting in traffic (~21 min.) S$5.74
Peak hour surcharge S$10.54
Total S$40.65

Can someone pls install a portkey or pass me some floo powder or teach me apparition?? Puff!

How to maximise your leaves for 2010

Based on the above calendar and the public holidays for 2010, I have come up with a plan on how one can maximize his/her annual plan utilization to get away from work and go for many holiday trips =)

From the table, you can see that 23 days of annual leave can be used to go for 54 days of holiday... Total of 6 trips (perhaps to 6 different places??!!) and each trip is abt 9 days long, which is kinda adequate if you are exploring one/two places per trip.

Hope this will be kinda useful for those who are planning their holidays yah... Dont be caught busy studying the calendar in office, hahaha
