Arggghhh... my very 'efficient' IT department has succeeded in blocking off the access to the tagboard... this means that i can no longer post comment when i'm working... sian... =< guess i have to resort to posting comments at entry level instead...

hahaha.. i supposed you can talk to everyone here when i am at a meeting or away from desk... but then again, if i am not around, there is no need to chat here cos you and the rest can use the tagboard... hahaha... catch 22 here.
btw, i have the book... can lend if anyone is interested... i personally did not managed to get the meaning.. hahaha.. perhaps it's time to re-read it and hopefully can relate to the story better

Poor you. Why UOB is so strict? Don't they need to discuss stuff through MSN or internet???I really dun understand.
we cannot use msn or yahoo or whatever chat program to discuss work online lor... everything must be done via emails... =<
and not everyone gets internet access too... i am one of the few lucky ones who need internet for work/research purpose... the rest just have to face their office emails.. the most 'exciting' thing to do to kill time is to watch the screen saver... i am not kidding you... hahaha
Well I didn't even have internet for the 2.5 yrs in my prev company. Only had dial up at one shared terminal for a long while.
But come to think of it, i dun really nid it. Nid it to research and source for codes and advice though...As long as I got my transceiver radio can liao..can chitchat wif colleagues in between work too...
Life is more interesting/focussed without distractions smtimes..
oh well.. it's kind of different you know. you expect internet access to be given to all staff in a 'big' company like mine... part of staff welfare mah...
i dont like to chit chat with my colleagues one... only stuff we talk about is work.. sian.. hahahaha

Haha the only job when I had no internet access was those days back in Barclays, but that was eons ago when probably internet was not even popular.
But ok lah, not that we can't do without internet. I can do without internet but can't do without intranet. Haha... As long as I have email, Excel, and intranet, I can function.

there's only one reason as to why they are 'busy'... cos they are not working efficiently... so it become my prob that i am unlike them, i am too efficient, so i need more work... hahahaha...
enough of my complaining... back to attitude him...
life is so unfair... after i reviewed the doc and submitted to cbd, he immediately forward something else that is not part of my work and required me to 'assist'... ddduuuhhh...
so this afternoon would slowly drag my feet for this piece of work... hahaha.. dont need to be so efficient one...
wow... busy morning... had a 'heated' discussion with cbd just shortly after he came in and bother me with issues... he's really the 'duuhh' today lor, irritating, always disagreeing with me... heng he needs to go meeting after that.. hahaha.. and leave me along to rush out a query by noon...
at last now can catch a breather.. hahahaha... lunching in office now, kfc chicken infront of me...
afternoon should be more manageable.. cos cbd going for meeting again... i can put down my opinions in the doc and give him to review... dont want to waste saliva with him... hahahaha
