The visit to Hakodate Seafood Market would be incomplete without trying any of its fresh seafood! We ordered one grilled fresh scallop to share. Cost: 350 Yen (~SGD 6) per scallop.
Gotta purchase a 'Grilled Fresh Scallop' ticket first from the vending machine behind AG, choose a scallop (the largest one of course!) from the basket and pass ticket and scallop to chef.
Chef will grill the scallop in its shell right in front of you. Average waiting time of 15mins for scallop to be ready.
Scallop was piping hot when we ate it. It's very delicious and sweet, i.e. the sweetness of fresh scallop that you will imagine it should be. Yummy!!
