Day 4 PM : Li Xiao Lu

Third stop of the day - Li Xiao Lu, Sapporo
Sapporo's main shopping district is Li Xiao Lu 1 to 7. These 7 sections are separated by roads and constitute a bustling network of shops selling all sorts of goods, such as ladies and men fashion, bags, shoes, beauty products, chocolates, souvenirs, etc and the list goes on... What a long stretch of shopping area!!

Our tour guide brought us to ONE shop in Lane 6 where everyone proceeded to stock up on White Lovers cookies, potato chips, pastries, snacks, candies and other local products. The shop must have a tie-up with our tour agency!! Usually, I dislike such shops as they are known to 'chop' tourists...

... but to our pleasant surprise, the prices for White Lover cookies here (and other products as well) are cheaper by ~10% compared to the official market prices!... and there was a further 5% discount given to our tour group! Soooo nice! The shop even provided boxes for us to pack our purchased items so that we can check in these boxes when we returned to Singapore. So thoughtful!

Li Xiao Lu Lane 6.
No more photo of this area cos we were busy shopping! Hahaha...

White Lovers cookies.
If I remembered correctly, AG bought about 15 large boxes for his personal and family consumption while I bought about 5 large boxes...

Lavender cookies which we bought to try.
Cookies had a really fragrant smell (lavender scented?) but they did not taste as good as White Lovers cookies.

Mini cheese and chocolate cakes.
Soft sponge cake which has a mild sweet taste but you cannot really taste much cheese in it.
Hmm, slightly disappointed really.

Jagapokkuru
Packs of premium potato strips made from a famous potato farm in Hokkaido.
It has a very rich and full potato taste and texture... Definitely another must try!
